# Merchant

**Merchant** is a cryptocurrency payment solution for your business and your customers; through Merchant your customers can pay with over 200 different cryptocurrencies.\
Personalize your payment method to receive fiat money in your bank account or cryptocurrencies in your crypto wallet.

## Set up Merchant

1. Signup and Verify
2. Choose a payment method
3. Add Merchant to your website

**Signup and Verify:** The first step is to create an account on the website and verify your identity. Merchain will not disclose any of your personal information with anyone.

**Choose a payment method**: Go to your Merchain dashboard and customize your payment method. You may withdraw fiat money or cryptocurrency but you can also convert it to a specific cryptocurrency immediately after the payment.

**Add Merchant to your website**: Use the generated API to integrate Merchant into your website.

Merchain charges 1% per transaction. Customers who pay using Merchain Token (MAIN) will save 50% on their transaction fees.

## Personalize payment

You can **retain** or **exchange** the cryptocurrencies that you get by going to the currency tab in your dashboard and selecting which currencies you wish to accept from your clients, then selecting whether you want to keep or swap that cryptocurrency with fiat or another cryptocurrency.
